Sur la biographie intellectuelle de Hildegard Brenner\, spécialiste de la littérature\, historienne de la culture et éditrice ». Il est membre fondateur du Working Group on Periodical Studies et a largement publié dans le domaine des études périodiques et de l’histoire intellectuelle\, notamment l’ouvrage Die journalistische Form der Theorie. Die Zeitschrift ‘alternative’\, 1958-1982 (Göttingen : Wallstein Verlag\, 2021). \n  \nRésumé de la conférence  \nPeriodical Studies as Intellectual History: The Case of 1968 \nIn the context of a growing methodological interest in periodicals as objects of research\, new connections between intellectual history\, media studies and the history of social movements emerge. Using the publishing scene of the ‘1968’ movement as an example\, I intend to show that journals and magazines not only served to disseminate texts and ideas\, but played decisive roles in shaping this movement by providing sites of gathering\, collective self-education\, and self-reflection in the changing course of its political and intellectual struggles.
